Our Karate Kids

Car-man and Curious Z recently started Tae Kwon Do lessons and last Saturday participated in their first tournament. They were so excited! They each competed in forms and breaking; it was so exciting for us to watch their confidence as they went through their moves. We were proud of them!

Car-man got a third place in forms and a first place in kicking! He was so thrilled!

He was just a little excited. . .

So they each got a third place and a first place - we couldn't have planned it any better!

They carried their trophies around all day and found a special spot for them on their dresser! Then we ate lunch at our favorite Chinese restaurant. . .it was a good day!
